- Ginza Kyubey
¥10,000 • ¥20,000
Ginza Kyubey 銀座 久兵衛 銀座本店
Ginza Kyubey is possibly one of the best-known sushi restaurants in Tokyo. Opened in 1935 it has become world famous and has expanded into various establishments. The original restaurant is located 5 minutes from Ginza station. Unlike the intimidating little sushi restaurants, Kyubey more closely resembles western canons. Bigger, busier, alive and closer to customers. Kyubey offers excellent "edomae" style sushi with well-matched flavors. The variety of fish and shellfish is huge but its special ... ties are "anago" (conger eel), "uni" (sea urchin) and "ikura" (salmon roe). There is no à la carte service, but a wide range of tasting menus is available. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and quantity they offer. Tip: Being a very popular restaurant the queues are long. We recommend using the Japan Gourmet Pass free reservation service.
