Higurashi ひぐらし
Higurashi is a Japanese style tavern known as Izakaya. Despite having received a Michelin star, it retains to have a reasonable price and excellent service. They offer a modern Japanese cuisine as well as their decoration. They often change the menu to take advantage of the best seasonal products that's why they don't have English menu. The options include meat and fish. Basically, it consists of appetizer, sashimi, soup, a choice between meat and fish either grilled or fried. If the customer wi ... ll request, an option to customize certain aspects of the menu and addition of other dishes can be done (but please consider their very basic English skills). The price for their rice selection is 500 yen. If you have a chance, this excellent Izakaya deserves a visit. Early or late time sometimes can get you a space without reservation but we recommend to use their free reservation service available to all Japan Gourmet Pass members. NOTE: Our members always have the menu at least in English but Higurashi doesn’t have it because they already created a 3000 yen standard course set with their signature dishes, making it easy to order for foreigners.
