Hitoshinaya is an excellent restaurant specializing in "Teishoku" meal sets or mixed dishes. The concept, where the name comes from, is something like a "single plate" very useful for the place where it is located: Departures terminal No. 1 at Haneda Airport. In fact there are 3 "teishoku" restaurants. The main one is typical Japanese breakfast sets, which can be enjoyed all day. The most popular is salmon; crispy or juicy skin that is accompanied with rice, miso soup, salad, Japanese sweet omel ... ette, pickled vegetables excellently prepared, simple sets and perfect for a light meal. There is another part that offers ramen of different types, with homemade noodles, lots of vegetables and excellent soup. The last section is donburi sets. The main course is a bowl of rice with sashimi or meat. Fully functional and utilitarian restaurant, but exceptionally high quality for an airport. Excellent for a light, healthy, fast and well prepared meal. The restaurant recreates the style of a machiya, a traditional Kyoto wooden house, with three spaces differentiated by the slope of the roof. The place has received many mentions in architecture publications for its avant-garde design.
