Kouran 香蘭 (コウラン)
This is one of the oldest gyoza restaurants in the capital of Gyoza in Utsunomiya. They have a simple menu, with just one type of gyoza or dumpling, grilled (yaki), steamed (sui), or fried (age). It is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They are very busy on the weekends, and they are located just a 20-minute walk from Utsunomiya station and a ten-minute walk from Tobu-Utsunomiya station.
