Nihonbashi Tendon Kaneko-Hannosuke 日本橋 天丼 金子半之助 本店
At Nihonbashi Tendon Kaneko-Hannosuke, their speciality is the tendon in a bowl of tempura rice garnished with a special sweet sauce. Shinya Kaneko, inherited from his grandfather, Hannosuke Kaneko, a renowned cook from the old Edo school, a special sauce for tendon, which he has perfected. This restaurant is said to have the perfect tendon, deep fried tempura in sesame oil, light and crispy, excellent rice and tendon sauce, all in perfect balance. It only has one menu: Edomae Tendon for only ... 980. It includes excellent tempura of conger eel, squid, 2 large prawns, semi-cooked egg, seaweed, freshly fried vegetables and everything in generous proportions. It is completed with a short menu with an excellent miso soup and extras of any of the tempuras. With fairly long lines, try to avoid rush hours, especially at noon it is normal to wait 1 hour and a half. If you want to avoid queues, you can order an bento, the same dish to take away, it is not the same but it is a good approximation. Located 150 meters from Mitsukoshimae Station.
