Asakusa Rokku Sakaba Izakaya and Yakitori Bar has been opened since 1959, and it is located at the oldest and most traditional “Hoppy Street” and the heart of Asakusa. Through the years, they have been serving the locals their classic izakaya specialties. During recent years they also serve foreigners willing to try a local bar that will expose them to “real Japan,” in terms of street izakaya. The staff speaks English, and they have the menus translated in Chinese and Korean as well. At ... It is not a restaurant per se, but it is more like a very casual local Bar where you can eat at the same time. If you visit with this in mind, then it is a good choice.
