The Batifoji yakitori is one of the most popular yakitori in Kyoto. They are very famous and mostly known for serving excellent and large charcoal chicken skewers at a very reasonable price of 150 yen. For small groups, sitting at the counter is a delight as you view grilled skewers as they come out of the fire. There are also some classics in the restaurant’s izakaya menu apart from their yakitori special. The yakitori is so popular that you need to have a reservation before visiting and they ... only accept reservations a month before. So, we recommend you make your reservations at least a month before the day you plan to go. If you like yakitori and you’re in Kyoto at some point, Batifoju has to be your go to point for good yakitori. It is only a 3 minutes’ walk from Hankyu Karasuma station.
