For several years many have considered this tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) restaurant in Akihabara to be the best in Tokyo, and it is in the top ten in the whole of Japan. Tonkatsu gourmets use the expression, "a new level of Tonkatsu," to refer to Marugo. Their pork is very juicy, soft, and not at all oily. The dish is deep fried, making the breadcrumbs super crunchy. Either you are an expert in Tonkatsu or you are a total beginner. Don't miss the chance to have a bite of Marugo. This is where th ... e Tonkatsu art reaches its peak. NOTE: This shop is very popular and special, so be ready to lineup outside for 20 minutes at least at peak hours. But don't let the wait time stop you from this experience.
