Yamariki Shinkan is the subsidiary of the original Izakaya Yamariki Honkan with almost 100 years of history and the fourth-generation family restaurant. The family had through generations the devotion to preserve their heritage, they kept this traditional Izakaya from Shitamachi area (suburb of Tokyo), an ancient peripheral area of artisans and workers in old Edo times. The most popular dish is Nikomi (beef stew, served with a baguette). Some of their dishes have a touch of French cuisine, but y ... ou can also taste the izakaya classics: sashimi, yakiton (charcoal grilled pork skewers), tofu, pickles, etc. Good izakaya, reasonable prices, on the outskirts of central Tokyo, near Morishita station.
