Gion Nishi is a kaiseki restaurant near the Kodai-ji temple and 8 minutes from Gion Shijo station. A sliding wooden door leads to a long bar and tables. Despite his youth, Chef Nishi Junpei is an expert in Japanese and Western cuisine. He transforms the Kyoto tradition into a more eclectic concept.
