Sushi Teru is a small, traditional and discreet sushi restaurant run by a kind husband and his wife. There is no menu, it only offers an Omakase set (Chef's recommendation), which changes daily according to seasonal fish available in the market. The food is simply excellent as is the hospitality. It is better to book at least one week in advance since the restaurant is very small and with a long history, so it has many fans among the locals. It is located in an evocative neighborhood, former red ... district in Edo, where some of Tokyo's last Geishas still survive. Surprisingly little explored by tourists, the Arakicho district is about 20 minutes walk from Shinjuku station in Yotsuya Sanchome.
